They are currently looking to engage a suitable qualified professional who would be responsible for providing comprehensive production technology expertise function within the company.Job Description If you would be interested in a highly engaging and rewarding opportunity as a Production Technologist for a leading E & P company that would oversee the following functions: Provide comprehensive Production Technology expertise to the subsurface study teams in a Petroleum Engineering organization undertaking field development studies, development plan revisions, implementation of field life extensions and optimal exploitation of hydrocarbons Develop, improve and maintain disciplinary technical standards in all applications related to Production Technology Participate in the preparation of development plans, technical feasibility and optimization studies to ensure project value is maximized Co-ordinate with Assets and Development BU on the flow of project approval documentation, timing, resources, post implementation results & data documentation Co-ordinate with all relevant service providers to ensure that all services provided are properly documented, checked, and entered into company data base system The Successful ApplicantFor the successful Production Technologist, you will have: A university degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum Engineering, or any other related discipline Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry of which more than 5 years in Petroleum Engineering/Production Technology and operational experience Possess good understanding of the complete life cycle of field development and integration of geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and well technology Proficient in the use of the industry standard production technology tools.
