Department: MBABusiness Unit: Pan-Atlantic University/Lagos Business SchoolReports To:Head, MBA Careers & PlacementsDirectly Supervises: NILPosition Type: Regular/Permanent/Full TimePurpose of Position: To provide support to the Head, MBA Careers & Placements in executing the MBA Career Development Program which should result in internship placement of all first year MBA (full-time) students in reputable companies as well as job placement of second year students.To provide support in executing the Modular and Executive MBA Career Development ProgramESSENTIAL DUTIES/KEY JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following: Coordinate careers office events under the supervision of Head of MBA Careers MBA, EMBA and MEMBA careers events careers events on and off campus on-campus interview sessions organisations' events such as Company Days etc MBA Career Fair SLA events coaching sessions mock interview sessions Assist with careers office research activities Manage organisations' database Manage students' database Manage events' database Ensure proper filing of documents and record keeping Provide interested organizations with information about the internship programme Participate in the preparation of Career Services' programs Collate internship documents pre and post grading by supervisors Any other duty to be assigned from time to time by the line managerKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Accurate and up-to-date databases of - organisations recruiters recruitment assessments tracking students careers office events others Ease of access of unit's information/records Quality of events coordination and management Number of events successfully coordinated Research outputs for the careers office SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Planning and organizational skills Strong customer service skills Strong MS Office suite skills Research skills Good interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills Good presentation skills Attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to learn new information Self-motivation and initiative; ability to carry through on work assignments with minimal supervision Flexibility and ability to work under pressure Ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills Knowledge of events and project management Willingness to work independently and as part of a team QUALIFICATIONS At least second class, upper division (2.1) in any disciplineEXPERIENCEAt least 2 years in administrative/HR function as well as events management and/research.SALARY GRADEAdministrative
