Network Arewa24 Limited is the company that owns and manages AREWA24, a Hausa-language, free-to-air satellite television channel which can be viewed on Eutelsat Satellite Channel 16A/16 East Horizontal (frequency 10804, symbol rate 30000).Essential Job Functions/Requirements Ability to present from Outdoor/Indoor movie locations To interact with and interview movie stars and crew Proven and thorough knowledge of the Kannywood movie industry To cover events, awards, seminars and music premiers and willing and able to work outside normal office hours Ability to produce high quality scripts A good team player with a "can do" attitude, brimming with ideas, enthusiastic about Kannywood with plenty of movie contacts Willing to learn new broadcast technics - a joy to work with, but steely ambitious Qualities: Must be Female and within the age of 20 to 30 years Must look presentable in nature Must have excellent communication and presentation skills Must have the ability to research and interview Must have the ability to be calm under pressure Must have good memory for recalling facts and script Must have proven passion for Kannywood industry Should have a minimum of ND/B.Sc in Mass Communication and any other relevant field Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and delivery focused individual Must be able to work to tight deadline, under pressure Must have evidence of creative media skills ( show reel preferred).
