Have complete understanding of range of products and be conversant with their least cost through the manufacturers, vendors and the open market source. Will be responsible for the effective management of the category buyers within the department. Must be able to hold reports accountable and be held accountable always. Must be creative in the sourcing of products range and must never allow stock-out in all the products categories within the available resources. Must know always the exact products at hand, when to replenished, how it will be replenished and at least cost possible.
